Value Schools Impact Report

Using our values as a guide, we continue to provide our students access to a college preparatory education. With over 1,700 students enrolled across our four schools, we invite our students to participate in a myriad of activities, open their eyes to new possibilities, develop their potential, and make their dreams a reality. With the contribution of our committed School Board and Foundation Board members, our educators, support staff, school leaders, and home office staff, we have worked together every day to provide our students an exceptional educational experience. We have created schools where our students demonstrate their understanding of our values and become the people they are meant to be.

In 2022 we celebrate a profound accomplishment: the success of the We Climb capital campaign that helped us open the new school building for Everest Value School. Working together with 282 donors, several foundations, the We Climb Capital Campaign Committee (co-chaired by Grant Cambridge and Matt O’Connor), the Student We Climb Committee, and students and parents from our four schools, we created space for 230 more students to join the Value Schools family at Everest Value. We also leaned on the assistance of local businesses and the unanimous votes from both the Rampart Village Neighborhood Council and the California School Finance Authority.

Our efforts during the campaign demonstrated our core values, especially Value #4, which our elementary and middle school students recite each day during Morning Ceremony:

“We believe that by working together we can do more than we can do by ourselves.”

We are truly grateful to the members of the Value Schools family who invest in our students and demonstrate commitment, perseverance, grit, and courage while supporting Value Schools for over 20 years!!
