For the second year in a row, Grant Cambridge and his colleagues at Capital Group opened their doors to seniors from Central City Value and University Prep Value High Schools for a transformative college essay workshop.
The day began with a tour of Capital Group’s offices and its dynamic stock trading center, where students observed real-time trading and learned how financial markets operate. Grant then shared a short, motivational video on the power of self-esteem and the importance of standing out in the college admissions process.

During lunch, each student was paired one-on-one with a Capital Group associate for personalized coaching on their college essay drafts. These sessions helped students refine their writing, reflect deeply on their personal journeys, and build confidence in their unique voices.
